CONTROL AND PREPARATION OF RAW MATERIAL
A specific area of the company is dedicated to receiving, inspecting, and storing various types of raw materials used for metal melting. This includes scrap copper and brass of different qualities and sizes, copper cathodes, zinc ingots, as well as scraps from customer processes and our own production, ensuring complete waste recovery. We recover 100% of our waste and produce semi-finished products with over 90% recycled raw materials.
MELTING
The company has two vertical continuous casting and static plants dedicated to melting special alloys. Automated quantometers perform continuous analytical checks during the melting process, ensuring compliance with production specifications.
EXTRUSION
The type of bars and profiles produced is obtained through four direct presses. Thanks to high power and technological content, these presses allow the hot deformation of ingots from the foundry. Extrusion can occur, depending on the final dimensions of the bar, in either rods or coils.
DRAWING
Drawing consists in the cold deformation of the material coming from the extrusion phase in order to satisfy the customer's needs in terms of mechanical characteristics, dimensional tolerances and surface quality. This process involves the use of single or combined drawing machines, with a carriage or a crawler system, allowing the material to be poured directly into the warehouse, suitably packaged in rods, rolls or coils. There is also a cold rolling department for the production of brass strip.
QUALITY
We believe that quality is a key factor in the success of a company and involves all stages of the production process, from incoming raw material inspections to delivering the finished product to the customer. We have implemented quality control systems and procedures to continuously monitor and evaluate product compliance with established specifications and standards. We collaborate with and periodically evaluate suppliers to ensure a reliable and quality supply chain. The company's staff is adequately trained and possesses the necessary skills to carry out their activities effectively. Continuous employee training contributes to improving technical skills and awareness of the importance of quality. Gathering and evaluating customer feedback allows us to identify any issues or areas for improvement. Carefully listening to customer needs helps us meet their expectations and provide products that meet their requirements.
WAREHOUSE
The automated warehouse covers an area of 18,000m2 across 15 levels in height. The bundles arrive directly from production machines and are stowed without staff intervention. Automated stacker cranes independently pick up bundles for shipment and bring them to the loading bays.
